A WELCOME FROM OUR CHAIRMAN

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Potteries Men Sing — a truly special pop-up singing initiative with a powerful purpose at its heart.

This project brings together 40 men (or more) of all ages and backgrounds for a unique opportunity: to learn to sing from the very beginning, culminating in a major charity concert in each of our six towns. No previous experience is required, and all professional direction and support will be provided completely free of charge.

Over the course of 10 weeks, you will not only develop your vocal ability, but also become part of a supportive and enjoyable community. This is about far more than singing — it is about building friendships, sharing experiences, and discovering the joy of collective achievement.

At its core, Potteries Men Sing exists to make a meaningful difference. Every note sung and every moment shared contributes towards supporting those living with dementia in Stoke-on-Trent, as well as the organisations that care for them. It is a chance to give something back to our community in a way that is both uplifting and impactful.

We also recognise the personal benefits of coming together in this way — from boosting wellbeing and confidence, to simply enjoying the camaraderie that music can bring.

Thank you for considering being part of this journey. Together, we have the opportunity to create something truly memorable — for ourselves, for each other, and for our community.
